Tour Description

1  March to 30 June 2025 & 1 Sept to 31 Oct 2025: 2 SELF-GUIDED ITINERARIES – ENQUIRE TODAY – These self-guided Cazorla road bike tours open the window to the spectacular Sierra de Cazorla natural park. This ‘interior paradise’ is Europe’s biggest protected natural space and the lungs of southern Spain. Imagine spectacular mountain scenery, castles, excellent cuisine and Andalusian folklore all rolled together! The cycling routes include many peaks around the 1000-1500m elevation with ‘El Yelmo’ the biggest challenge standing at 1800m. During 2025 we have 6 night and 9 night self-guided cycling tour options to choose from (see below for detailed itineraries and prices).

On receipt of your 20% deposit payment, we begin reserving your hotels and providing you with all the confirmations. When on tour, your luggage will be moved from one hotel to another so you only need to focus on the cycling on-hand.  There is also a 24hr contact number provided for a local Sierra guide in the event you need emergency assistance.

Tour Overview – 6 night package

This 6 nights / 7 days self-guided cycling tour starts and finishes in Linares/Baeza. Baeza is a UNESCO heritage town thanks to its Spanish Renaissance style architecture. The tour visits a number of picturesque rural villages (the typical whitewashed villages of Andalucia) and the excellent routes dissect the heart of the Sierra de Cazorla natural park. Cazorla will be sure to impress with its quiet mountain roads, cuisine and beautiful cycling weather. Classic Cazorla climbs such as ‘Tiscar’, ‘Las Palomas’ and ‘El Yelmo’ are plotted along the route. Stays in rural settings which are situated in the middle of a ‘sea of olive groves’ dominate the landscape.
