Many corners of the world are starting to slowly re-open their borders to international travel. There are some positive signs and many in the travel sector are confident of a return to ‘normal’ international travel during 2022.
However, we understand that a considerable level of uncertainty still remains regarding international travel. In addition, we don’t know of any insurance companies that offer a special Covid-19 policy cover. In light of this we want to offer our guests, who are keen to travel in 2022, the peace of mind when reserving a tour place for 2022. Bookings made until mid-March 2022 will not incur any initial deposit payment. This gives our guests the chance to reserve their place on tour now (avoiding any future disappointment) while also buying some time for all parties to assess the success of border re-openings over the coming months.
Below you can find the specific booking changes for our upcoming 2022 tour season. We would like to highlight our commitment to refunding all 2022 tour payments should a tour be cancelled due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. It will also be a requirement for everyone on our 2022 tours to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Flexible Covid Booking Conditions for 2022
1. Deposit Payments: Until 15 March 2022 there will be no deposit payment required to secure your 2022 tour place. We recommend that you submit your booking form ASAP to secure your tour place but with the peace of mind that there is no financial outlay required until mid-March 2022.
2. Deposit Payments: From mid-March 2022 we will contact all guests who have lodged a 2022 tour booking form. At this time, all guests can decide if they would like to proceed with their booking and 10% deposit payment (reduced from 25% previously). Please note that the 10% deposit payment will be fully refundable should a tour be cancelled due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.
3. Final Payments: Final payment for all tours will be required 4 weeks before the tour start date (reduced from 12 weeks in the past).
4. Full Refunds: Should Covid-19 be the cause for any 2022 tour cancellations we are committed to refunding 100% of all tour payments made.
